Election Statement as submitted & certified by the candidate
My Engineering career spans over 42 years of which 34 years at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau. My involvement with IESL started in 2009 as Civil Engineering Sectional Committee member and later as Chairman. The most important part of my career was dedicated to training and grooming of young Engineers in addition to my Professional affairs. I always try to think differently to come out with ‘out of the box’ concepts, so that the budding engineer can follow suit and look for wider horizon. Being a Trainer, I have conducted programs, on positive thinking, attitude change, personality development, emotion control, Professional Behaviour and Etiquette in addition to Technical Training.
I have trained more than 600 Engineers majority in CECB to groom professionally in their career for the betterment of the profession. In future too, I do hope to contribute in wider scope by sharing my knowledge and experience to enhance the status of Engineers and to support activities that will bring benefits to the Engineering Profession, IESL and the people of this country. IESL should be made more encouraging and attractive place for Engineers for networking, better Senior-Junior Engineer relationship, user friendly facilities, educational and career development environment for young Engineers and for which I am committed. My main objective in life is to help others to go high and reach the apex in their professional and personal life.
